Equipment Inspection [ IMPORTANT ]

  • 10K & 50K & 100K participants will be inspected during the race. Those who do not have the required equipment(s), will be penalized or disqualified.
  • The inspection will be randomly conducted at a CP during the competition.
  • Pre-package shipment will take place of athlete registration. Equipment checks will be carried out during the race.

Insurance

  • All participants must double check that they’re in the right health condition to finish the course that they’ve registered in.
  • Please stop the race immediately in case of illness or any medical situation. Inform our operators and paramedics on site immediately.
  • Abusive drinking before and after the race could lead to a bigger accident. Please be aware of any actions that could cause an accident and refrain from drinking as it may lead to poor physical health. In the case of an accident, there will be a further investigation, so please be extra cautious.
  • The organizer is not responsible for any injuries or accidents caused by one's own health and/or accident during the competition.

  • The tournament will be insured for the event itself, but the insurance can only be compensated according to the insurance regulations for accidents caused by the organizer's negligence. The insurance will not be applied in the case of an accident caused by one's own negligence. Therefore, if you want to be compensated for an accident individually, we recommend that you purchase an individual insurance.

      1. Insurance only covers accidents caused by the organizer's negligence, so it is recommended to purchase individual insurance to prevent personal accidents. The organizers do not compensate for any personal accidents.
      Seoul 100K insures the event, but the organizers are not responsible for anything outside the insurance policy, so participants must be careful of accidents themselves.
      3. Diseases are caused internally. Myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, dyspnea, sudden death, vomiting, and muscle pain occur frequently during marathon races, which can be regarded as accidents caused by a disesase. (Insurance is not covered for accidents based on illness.)

Rules and Regulations

  • All participants are required to be on the lookout for injuries and safety incidents during the race.
    (In the event of an accident caused by one’s own health issues, the organizing party is not responsible.)
  • All participants must install the 911 report app.
  • The race cannot be proceeded after the cut off time for each CP.
  • You must pass the Blue House and the National Park course section within the limited entrance time, as the race cannot proceed during the control time.
  • All contestants are required to participate whilst practicing personal hygiene.
  • All competitors are required to avoid damage in nature and littering during the race.
  • In mountainous regions (with higher altitudes), there may be sudden changes in the environment due to the deterioration of the weather (low temperature, strong winds, rain, snow, etc.). One must have the ability to be prepared to be on the lookout for dangerous situations and stay safe. The organizer is not responsible for accidents caused by sudden changes in the environment and weather.
  • The right to publish photographs, videos, and records of athletes involved in the tournament belongs to the organizers, and there will be no objections.
  • One must promise to follow all the rules set by the organizers when participating in the competition.
  • The Seoul 100K committe has the right to disqualify participants, invite special personnel, suspend or cancel the tournament (non-refundable participation fee in case of cancellation due to natural disasters), and the right to change the course.

Cancellation and Refund

  • The deadline for cancellation is until Sept. 21st at 1pm. Any cancellations and refunds will not be accepted after this period.
